This promise is backed by our Serta Quality Assurance Program, one of the most stringent and rigorously enforced product quality programs in the home furnishings industry.
Through the Serta Quality Assurance Program, you can feel confident that your Serta sleep set will provide you with the long-lasting comfort and support you expect.
Serta Limited Warranty
Because we strongly believe in the quality design and craftsmanship of our products, Perfect Sleeper and Perfect Night sleep sets are warranted against manufacturing defects in workmanship and material (excluding covers). All other Serta products are warranted against manufacturing defects in workmanship and material (excluding covers and handles). If you observe a defect, contact the Serta dealer from which you purchased the set. If the dealer cannot be reached, please write directly to your Serta manufacturer at the address on your law tag. In either case, you must, within the duration of the Serta warranty, provide proof of purchase (include date of purchase) and be the original purchasing consumer. Your Serta mattress and/or foundation will be repaired or replaced (at our option) with charges, as shown on the Serta Warranty Schedule and exclusive of transportation costs.
All other claims including incidental or consequential damages are precluded. If identical materials are not available at the time of repair or replacement, the manufacturer reserves the right to substitute materials of equal quality. Serta reserves the right to refuse service and invalidate the warranty when, upon inspection, the sleep set is found to be in an unsanitary condition or when the product failure is caused by factors other than defective workmanship or materials.
Any and all implied warranties on this product shall not exceed in duration the term of this limited Serta warranty. This Serta warranty begins on the day you purchase your sleep set. If your sleep set is repaired or replaced, this limited warranty will not be renewed or extended. Please refer to the Serta Warranty Schedule on this warranty card to determine the length of your warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply.
This Serta warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. This Serta warranty is given by Serta manufacturer whose name and address appear on the law label attached to your Serta product. We recommend tha you examine the law label attached to your Serta product and record the name and address of the Serta manufacturer, and your warranty code, on this Serta Warranty card.
This warranty does not apply to products used in hotels, motels or institutional facilities.
Important Serta Warranty Information
The Serta Warranty covers only the following items during normal wear:
Serta Mattress:
- Wires that are loose, broken or protruding through fabric.
- Sagging, only if the mattress has been continuously supported by a matching foundation (or equivalent) and used with an appropriate frame and center support, or a minimum of 5 cross slats.
- Body impressions 1 1/2" or greater.
- Handles on all Perfect Night and Perfect Sleeper mattresses.
Serta Foundation:
- Broken or loose support elements.
- Compression or unstapling of support elements.
- Broken or loose grip top.
- Splitting of the wood frame.
- Loose, bent or defective wood beams.
- Sagging, but only when continuously supported with an appropriate frame with a rigid center support.
The Serta Warranty Card does not cover items such as, but not limited to:
- Bedding sold "as is"
- Bedding Height
- Bent perimeter border rods due to moving or bending the sleep set
- Handles on non-Serta Perfect Night and non-Serta Perfect Sleeper models
- Fabric stains, soiling or burns
- Replacement of another piece in a sleep set, unless it is also defective
- Transportation costs
- Body impressions less than 1 1/2"
- Damage of the mattress or foundation due to abuse
- Sheet fit
- Mattress damage due to an inappropriate foundation
- Comfort Preference
- Corner guards
- Cover
Examples of Proper Bed Frames for Queen- and King-size Serta bedding
We recommed on queen- and king-size models a center support that extends to the floor.
Mattress Care: Whether you have purchased a Traditional two-sided Serta mattress, or a new Easy-Care single-sided Serta mattress, we recommend that you rotate your mattress occasionally, which will increase its comfort life and longevity. However, the option to rotate your mattress is not required for your Serta warranty to remain valid.

Attached to every Serta mattress sleep set is a law tag (see sample above) which includes a warranty code number. To determine the terms of your warranty, match the warranty code with the appropriate line in the Serta Warranty Schedule.
If the Serta product you purchased is discontinued at the time of repair or replacement, the retail price for a comparable model will be used.

Do's and Don'ts of Serta Mattress and Bedding Care
Serta Mattress Do's:
- Do rotate your mattress as needed.
- Do use an appropriate frame and center support on queen- and king-size sets to ensure validation of your Serta Mattress Warranty.
- Do let your new sleep set "air" upon removal from its plastic packaging and dispose of all plastic packaging as soon as possible.
- Do keep your bedding clean and use a mattress pad, especially if children use the bed.
- Do replace the foundation when purchasing a new mattress to provide the proper support for your new Serta mattress.
- Do carry your mattres upright. It is easier to handle and less likely to damage the mattress.
- Do buy appropriate fitting sheets for your new sleep set.
Serta Mattress Don'ts
- Don't expose to fire or place near open flame. This mattress is not flame or fireproof and can ignite and/or burn if exposed to fire or open flame. When ignited, some bedding materials can burn and emit smoke and hazardous gases.
- Don't remove law tag at the end of your Serta mattress as this has the identification needed to establish your warranty rights.
- Don't bend your mattress under any circumstances. Such treatment may damage the innerspring unit.
- Don't place a board between your mattress and foundation. It will diminish the longevity and performance of your sleep set.
